Amravati Committee

"The strength of a civilization lies in its diversity. Respecting and uplifting Scheduled Tribes means embracing the wisdom of the past for a better future."

The Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee for the Amravati Division was established by the Maharashtra Government's Tribal Development Department under Government Resolution No. STT-1099/P.138/K-10, dated September 6, 2000. The committee commenced its independent verification of Scheduled Tribe certificates on March 15, 2001, following a directive from another Government Resolution dated March 12, 2001.
